Julia Perez, an Indonesian actor, model, dangdut singer, announcer, and businesswoman, was born on July 15, 1980, in Jakarta, Indonesia and died on July 10, 2017.
She was known widely as a sex bomb for her sexy performances. At the beginning of the 2010s, she became known for her statements against Muslim clerics. They deemed her pornographic or too sexy for Indonesian audiences.
In 2010, in Pacitan, East Java Province, she announced her candidacy for local office. In 2014, she had been suffered from Stage two cervical cancer. In June 2007, she died because of Stage four cancer.

She was born and raised in Jakarta. Her birth name was Yuli Rachmawati. She was the daughter of Angkasa Jaya, a football player from a club in Bandar Lampung city, and Sri Wulansih, women’s football player for Caprina Cijaantung Club in Jakarta.
In Jakarta, she studied at InterStudi Secretarial Academy. She worked in a Dutchman’s furniture company. In the Netherlands, she began dating owner’s son. She spent three years reading in Netherlands and working as a secretary.

She was banned from performing at a concert in Indonesia’s Independence Day in 2008. She launched a Jupe Fried Chicken, a chicken fast-food chain in 2012.

She dated Gaston, and the couple announced their engagement in 2013. The couple married on September 26, 2013, in Sydney, Australia and they divorced on May 12, 2016.
She earned Bachelor of Law in 2015 from Universitas Bung Karno.
